WorldDream Palace Suite Experience

How do you celebrate your hubby's big 40 and yet do not want to be stuck in this tiny island amidst the pandemic. Well, a 2 night staycation onboard World Dream is what I need to get myself recharged while celebrating my man's birthday in style. Without any hesitation, we booked a luxury Palace Suite and set sail for a 2 nights cruise to nowhere.  It was raining cats and dogs when we board the cruise but nothing could dampen my holiday mood as we headed straight to our suite with much anticipation. The Palace Suite is really beyond my expectation. The room size is big and compartmentalized into 4 segments - a huge bathroom complete with double sink, bathtub and rain shower, a living room equipped with a sofa and 55 inch TV, a huge comfy King size bed and a spacious balcony.  The suite also comes with complimentary wine, soft drinks, beers, snacks and fruits. Staycation @ M social

As the Covid-19 Pandemic rages on, our hope of vacationing overseas also diminished with time. Nevertheless, life goes on and we have to make do with other alternatives. Since we were given the Singapore Rediscovery vouchers, we will use it to the fullest.  After searching through Klook and Traveloka for various activities, we decided to use our vouchers for some great deals -  a visit to Madam Tussauds  which comes with a cable car ride to and from Sentosa island and a lunch at restaurant Arbora located at the hilltop of  Mount Faber. Separately, we also used our voucher for a one night staycation at a boutique hotel, M Social located in the quaint Robertson Quay. Strangely, it was my first time taking a cable car ride in Singapore and I had to say that the experience was indeed nothing as compared to the cable car rides that I've had overseas in countries like New Zealand, Switzerland, China and erm Genting Highland.
