Timang Beach used to be an isolated spot, located at the end of a bumpy road from a quaint farming village. In recent years, tourist flooded this area, made famous by an episode of Running Man (Korean's variety show). One of the highlights is the yellow Gondola that takes the adventurous ones across the raging sea to a little island. Personally, the sea-view is stunning. For a moment, I thought I was at Perth looking over the Indian Ocean. In case you aren't aware, I was told that Yogyakarta is located near Australia and perhaps shared the same Indian Ocean. As mentioned, tourist flocked to this beach to experience the Gondola, which was otherwise used by the fishermen to catch lobsters.
