Beautiful Nami Island

Namiseom island is one of the popular travel destinations near Seoul, famouse for its beautiful scenery and plenty of photo opportunities. The Island is located within 2 hours drive from Seoul and hence making it a perfect destination for a day trip. However, getting to Namiseom Island is often a topic of concern. That's because you need to travel by subway and change to a train from Cheongyanni Station. Anyway, I find it pretty easy to navigate from Insadong (where we stayed) to Cheongyanni Station. We then took the standard train, approximately 1hr 30mins to Gapyeong Station. On crowded days, be prepared to stand your way.   There are 2 ways to get to Namiseom Island. You can either be more adventurous and zipped yourself across the sea to the island or be more conservative and take a ferry. We choose the Zipliner which was super fun. It was not scary at all and the moment you take flight, you'll be mesmerised by the beauty before your eyes.  Namiseom Island

Even the subway stations have mini shopping malls.   @Myeongdong Myeong-dong is one of the primary shopping districs in Seoul and arguably its most impressive. It's home to many mid-to-high end stores like Forever 21, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton, just to name a few. However, the most notable stores would be the endless range of Korean cosmetic stores (e.g. Laneige, Natural Republic, Etude House, Innis Free etc). Like any ordinary tourist, my aim was to buy these cosmetics at reasonable prices. There were many promotions during my visit and hence my objective was met and I'm super satisfied with my purchases.   Other than being a shopping paradise, Myeongdong has got lots of street food. My personal favourite was the push-cart there sells freshly squeezed lemon juice. It's a little sour and sweet, def
