To Birdie Paradise @ Jurong Bird Park

It's been more than 20 years since I last visited Jurong Bird Park with my parents when I was just a little girl. And, 20 years later today, I'm visiting the park with my parents, hubby and children. My memories of Jurong Bird Park was the lush vegetation that surrounded the park and some of the bird species such as the flamingo and ostrich.   Jurong Bird Park underwent several renovation that changed the entire landscape of the park in the last few years. Now, the park is made prettier not only with the lush vegetation but also a variety of fauna. The park even has its man-made waterfall and open concept aviary where certain bird species can roam about freely. As Singapore celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, all citizens above 60 years old shall have free entry to the park.     The only downside in visiting the park is the unbearably hot weather that makes us feel so uncomfortable to walk around the park, especially for the little ones.   We mana
