Day 9: Zurich and Day Trip to Rhinefall

Zurich is the main city of Switzerland and a great base to venture out for day trip to Rhinefall.  Rhinefall is easily reached by train from Zurich in slight over one hour.   If time permits, one may even travel further to Germany's famous black forest.  This is Rhinefall  To stand high above Europe's largest waterfall, feeling the roar and vibration of the water over one's entire body is really quite an experience. I can't help but feel amazed by the creation of mother's nature.  There were tickets for sales four tourists to take various boats out to the waterfall and reaching certain segments of Rhine fall. Once the boat neared the waterfall, we can feel the power of the rushing water and were half-wet when the water splashed on us. We decided to take a boat to the middle section that allowed us to climb up the rock to have a glimpse of the entire Rhinefall. And if you can't get enough, you are always welcome to visit the castle chat...

When we arrived at the town, the temperature was freaking hot and such a sharp contrast from the cooling weather at Zermatt. Immediately, we checked in to our hotel - Parc Et Lac, facing the pretty lake leman.  The hotel establishment is pretty small but thankfully, there is an elevator to carry our luggage to the 4th floor. Although the hotel was  quite dated, it was value for money and conveniently located.  We quickly changed into our short sleeves and shorts and headed off to exp...
